Biohazard Cleanup
Read more about this service or situation.
Hoarding by itself is not automatically a biohazard cleanup job. Specialized remediation becomes relevant when the property also contains biological contamination such as blood, bodily fluids, animal waste, decomposition, sharps or other hazards.
A property can require both contents removal and hazardous-material controls. The biological hazards should be identified rather than treating the entire job as ordinary junk removal.
Heavy contents can conceal sharp objects, animal waste, spoiled material or contaminated surfaces. Avoid reaching into piles or moving unknown items without appropriate precautions.
Call with the general condition of the property and known hazards. The cleanup scope should be based on the actual contamination, not on assumptions about the occupants.
